The Christian Professionals of Tanzania (CPT) is a movement of committed Christian professionals who seek to live out their faith through service to society. Originating in the 1970s from young university graduates inspired by the Student Movement (YCS), CPT was officially recognized by the Episcopal Conference of Tanzania in 1983 as an Apostolic Movement of the Church. Guided by the Church's Social teachings, CPT brings together professionals from various fields to promote justice, peace, ethical leadership, and national development. Through meetings, publications, training, and public engagement, CPT builds a just and harmonious society grounded in faith and service.
