OFFICIAL REPORT OF THE CPT ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2025

Christian Professionals of Tanzania (CPT) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in 2025, bringing together Christian professionals from various dioceses across the country to reflect, deliberate and set the strategic direction of CPT in service to the Church and the Nation.

The meeting emphasized the integration of Faith, Professional Expertise, and Society, addressing key national and social issues including national unity, justice, elections, ethical leadership, youth and women participation and CPT’s strategic outlook after more than 40 years of mission.

This report combines the deliberations and resolutions of:

Day One - Focused on the spiritual foundation of the meeting, the role of Christian professionals in the Church and society, reflections on the social and political context of Tanzania including the 2025 General Election and key priorities that emerged from the discussions.

Day Two - Provided a strategic review of CPT’s journey, diocesan reports, institutional and financial challenges, digital transformation, youth and women engagement and key resolutions guiding CPT’s future direction.
